The Partner Group – Partner, Preferred Partner, and Premier Partner, represent those
resellers who have sold over 99 units in a fiscal year. Partner status is automatically
extended to the end of our next fiscal year following the point where the reseller
achieved 100 camera units sold. This provides greater price stability and larger
margins allowing partners to invest in marketing actions and solution packaging
around our products. Partner resellers are afforded a greater “touch” rate from
Ricoh staff and provided opportunities to engage Ricoh staff directly when solution
proposals require manufacturer’s presence and support. Sales force training and
solution development services are also made available at no extra charge.
These resellers represent more than a distribution relationship to Ricoh and are
expected to build and review business plans with channel managers and provide
forecasts to ensure manufacturing is prepared to provide inventory when needed.
Partner resellers are expected to maintain internal inventory of cameras and accessories.
Partner resellers are afforded special promotional programs not offered to lower tier resellers.
Partner resellers are provided the opportunity to register opportunities and request special pricing.
Special pricing if granted will be protected and only available to the reseller who’s request was approved.

Partner – This tier extends from 100 camera units sold to 299 camera units sold.
Resellers who achieve this tier have until the end of the following fiscal year to cross
the threshold again before being reset to Tier 4.

Preferred Partner – This tier extends from 300 camera units sold to
499 camera units sold. Resellers who achieve this tier have until the end of the
following fiscal year to cross the threshold again before being reset to Tier 4.

Premier Partner – This is the top tier and is reserved for those resellers
who achieve 500 or greater camera units sold in our fiscal year. Resellers
who achieve this tier have until the end of the following fiscal year to cross
the threshold again before being reset to Tier 4. These resellers will be assigned
a single channel manager and given access to our marketing organization for campaigns
and special promotional activities. Benefits include custom brochure design assistance,
trade show / event booth staffing assistance, opportunities to staff Ricoh booths at
trade shows / events as well as preferred lead referral.
